Countdown is on.....
So one week to go...injections have been administered, tickets purchased, track record (clean criminal record) proven,...and final lists made....It seems like just yesterday that Jenn and I tentatively discussed the idea of going to Africa on a mission...yet 10 months have gone by and today I find myself sorting out the last minute details of the trip....
I fly out on the 27th of this month to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, via London for two weeks...as a group I think we have an amazing opportunity to fellowship and and to make a difference in the lives of young children...and as an individual I hope to be able to learn, grow, gain some perspective on my life, and an appreciation of others.
I hope to keep everyone posted on our journey...so stay tuned...
This blog will follow Jenny, Bruce and me as we prepare and travel to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania for the month of June. We will be working in a school for orphaned children on weekdays and hope to do some traveling on the weekends. We hope that you will check our blog periodically to stay up to date on our amazing opportunity to serve The Lord and His people in this way.
